supernuggets

the good part of everything you save.

i like to think of myself as a curious person. and naturally i save a lot of stuff on the internet because i want to know it all — tiktoks about dark matter and local shoe brands, screenshots of that prompt that was shown on the screen for a second (i will never type it down...), 2am voice notes with random ideas, links to articles i don't have time to read right now, photo of some strange sticker on the toilet wall in that bar.

and that's it, i saved it and now it's dead to me — finding it is a whole ordeal: in which of the seven places i put it? camera roll? saved on tiktok? threads? pinterest?? sometimes even WHAT i wanted to "read later", just that it was smth exciting.

the act of "saving" turns into a ritual that goes nowhere: the knowledge went in, never came back out. all this valuable stuff just fell into a black hole to never be seen again. and i felt so sad and guilty about it. so i got irritated.
and built supernuggets.

paste the link → bot reads it, enriches it → puts in the bucket → you find it in 3 seconds.

a tiktok worth saving
1. find it
send it to the bot
2. send to bot
↕ scroll
it's a nugget — summarized, tagged, fact-checked
3. it's a nugget
supernuggets on mobile
4. everything, findable
the bucket — everything, findable
5. looks good on desktop too
now i'm free — i can just enjoy my pile of knowledge after work with a cup of coffee and a cat on my lap.
supernuggets does everything (and more) for me:
  • first, i added it to my home screen, so i can open it with just one click
  • i explore all my stuff on the web dashboard (the bucket) — the main jewel! the place. i can browse, search, open links, and explore related nuggets
  • it sends me digests — every week / month / year with a short report of what i was actually into — which helps me to reflect and/or remember something i forgot to dig into
  • the "surprise me" button — sometimes i just need to let go and enjoy a random item the universe has sent my way
  • dark mode, obviously — we care about our eyes

supernuggets started as a passion project for myself. now i'm happy to share it — hope it helps someone too.
